Sustainability and quality
as an everyday commitment
For Conceria Tirrena, sustainability and quality control are central to every process, from material selection to logistics management.
The company adopts internationally recognized standards and continuously invests in technological solutions aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving working conditions.
Certifications and environmental protocols
Global standards and environmental responsibility
Conceria Tirrena’s facilities are LWG Approved Trader certified, a recognition promoted by the Leather Working Group that defines environmental best practices in the tanning industry. The LWG protocol includes periodic audits focused on ethics, safety and environmental responsibility throughout the leather supply chain, ensuring transparency and compliance with international standards.

Energy efficiency and sustainable headquarters
Technology and innovation for sustainable facilities
At its Civitanova Marche facility, the company covers almost all of its energy needs through a photovoltaic system with a capacity of approximately 560 kWh, installed on the roofs of its warehouse buildings and upgraded in 2025 with next-generation energy storage systems, including dedicated hardware and software for so-called power quality management, providing a total storage capacity of approximately 400 kWh.
Within this framework, the Turbigo (Milan) facility is also equipped with its own photovoltaic energy generation system, with a capacity of approximately 100 kWh.
Research, materials and responsible supply chain
Research and development of low-impact solutions
Conceria Tirrena selects suppliers and subcontractors through dedicated audits, assessing not only material quality but also compliance with environmental and safety standards. Its offering includes chrome-free, metal-free and vegetable-tanned leathers, developed to meet the sustainability requirements of international brands. Each leather is traceable throughout the supply chain through integrated information systems.

Quality control and product safety
Quality control at every stage
Each batch of leather undergoes visual, mechanical and chemical testing to ensure technical performance and regulatory compliance. Testing includes resistance tests, color fastness assessments and chemical parameters in line with REACH regulations, helping safeguard both product quality and end-consumer safety.
