Since 1953, at the heart of the footwear district
Founded in 1953 by Romano Giordani, Conceria Tirrena was established in the Marche region, within one of the most dynamic districts of Italy’s footwear tradition. From the outset, the company specialized in the distribution of leather linings, developing an entrepreneurial approach focused on product research and close proximity to the production supply chain. Today, the pioneering spirit of its origins continues to guide the company’s evolution and strategic choices.
Growth and Development
A journey built together with the industry
From the 1960s onward, the growth of the footwear sector supported the commercial and organizational expansion of Conceria Tirrena. Its offering progressively broadened to include porcine, ovine, caprine and bovine leathers, while the company strengthened its presence across Italy’s and Europe’s leading manufacturing districts. In 1973, Conceria Tirrena S.p.A. was established, the corporate structure under which the company still operates today.

With its relocation to Civitanova Marche in 1992, Conceria Tirrena evolved its business model, placing increasing focus on service and international distribution.
